Kenmont Tsunami Swim Team

Welcome!

You are about to register for the 2026 Kenmont Tsunami swim season! 

Pricing for registration is $225 each for one or two swimmers; after that the additional cost is $145 per swimmer, with a family-maximum fee of $575.

The process is simple. Returning members should find the fields pre-populated with last year's information. Please review and update anything that has changed--especially the insurance and contact information. For those who are new to the team, registering will allow you access to the team software, Swimtopia. Your individual login will enable you to declare your swimmer/s availability for meets, sign up for volunteer positions, see your swimmer's events, times and history, maintain your own contact information, and more.

Tsunami team practice begins after school on Tuesday, May 26th. Time trials will be June 6th; this is a Kenmont-only event that establishes or updates baseline times in each meet event. Our first meet will be an Intersquad Dual (Kenmont v. Kenmont) on the evening of June 10th; this meet can also serve to establish seed times for swimmers. Competition meets with teams in our MCSL division begin Saturday, June 13th. The Tsunami will participate in five Saturday morning meets, five Wednesday evening meets, two Relay Carnivals (for both Wednesday and Saturday swimmers), and the Division Championship Meet (aka Divisionals). We are also looking forward to social events, including pep rallies, pancake breakfasts, ice cream socials, Fun Friday practices, and other activities that can be enjoyed by the whole team. Check the team website (https://kenmont.swimtopia.com) for the meet schedule and continually throughout the season as we add events.

Tsunami Pre-Team practices will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at either 9:30-10:00 AM or at 6:00-6:30 pm June 22nd - July 17th. Pre-teamers finish their season with a fun Ice Pop Mini Meet on Sunday July 19th.

Eligibility:

Tsunami Swim Team

Each swimmer who registers for the Tsunami swim team must meet the following requirements:

1.Members Only: The Tsunami Swim Team is open only to members of Kenmont Swim & Tennis Club. If you are not an active member, please do not proceed. If you register and are not an active member, your registration will be canceled and your payment will be returned, less a $20 processing fee.

2.Swimming Ability: Each athlete must be able to do the following unassisted:

• Swim at least 25 meters freestyle or another stroke
• Tread water for at least 30 seconds
• Be comfortable in the water

3.Age: The Tsunami Swim Team is for children who will be at least 5 and no older than 18 by or on July 1, 2026.

Tsunami Pre-Team

Any swimmer who does not meet the above requirements but who wants to learn more about competitive swimming and increase their comfort in the water can join our Pre-team if they meet the following criteria:

1.Members Only: Pre-Team is open only to members of Kenmont Swim & Tennis Club. If you are not an active member, please do not proceed. If you register and are not an active member, your registration will be canceled and your payment returned, less a $20 processing fee.

2.Swimming Ability: Each Pre-teamer must be able to:

• Swim at least 10-15 meters (across the diving well) any style, including dog paddle. 
• Tread water for at least 15 seconds unassisted
• Be comfortable in the water

3.Age: Pre-Team is designed for children between the ages of 4 and 8 but beginning swimmers over 8 may be eligible. Some swimmers step up from Pre-team to the Tsunami team mid-season, as they progress in skill and comfort.
