Tsunami Coaches
Head Coach - Giuliana "Gigi" Gigliotti
Coach Gigi: Gigi has been with Tollefson Swimming since 2022 and joined the Kenmont Tsunami coaching staff in 2023. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she has been swimming competitively since she was 10 years old and was a member of the Brazilian National Swim Team, representing Brazil at international competitions.
Gigi moved to the U.S. on a full scholarship to the University of Utah, where she competed at the NCAA Division I level.
On deck, Gigi loves helping swimmers build confidence, develop a strong work ethic, and challenge themselves while having fun in the water. During the summer, she proudly coaches the Kenmont Tsunami, where the coaches' relay team she’s part of is still undefeated!
Assistant Coaches -
Natalie McMurry
Natalie was a competitive swimmer for 11 years, and has been coaching for the past four. She joined Kenmont's swim team in 2014, Tollefson in 2018, and swam all of high school with Einstein. Last summer, after three years as a junior coach for Kenmont, she joined Tilden Woods as a part-time assistant coach. Natalie loves teaching the skills and technique needed, but the most rewarding part is seeing swimmers apply corrections and not only get faster, but also feel good about themselves. She is thrilled to be back at her home pool this year!
John Bajwa
John has been a member of the Kenmont Tsunamis swim team since 2019 and has served as a Junior Coach for the two previous summers. John has swum competitively for around 13 years, and now swims at Messiah University. John looks forward to sharing his love of swimming with the younger generation this summer.
Junior Coaches -
Anisa Sayfidinova
I’ve been on the Kenmont Swim Team for 10 years and swam club for 8 years. This is my 2nd year as a junior coach, and before that I volunteered for the pre-team for three years. Swim team has always been one of my favorite parts of summer, especially all the meets and building connections with coaches and teammates. Coaching has always been a very formative and fun experience for me, and I’m looking forward to this season!
William Garriock
Hi swimmers and parents! I’ve been swimming for Kenmont since 2016, and serving as a junior coach since 2023. I have swam for RMSC and Machine Aquatics through most of my club age-group swimming. I also swam on the Northwood High School swim team, and left 3 records in different relays. My favorite part of swimming is the nerves I feel before meets, and getting to practice outside in the summer air. As a coach, my favorite thing is seeing swimmers improve and feeding their passions to become the best and fastest versions of themselves, while enjoying the process.
